NO! Not Sandy. I hate Sandy.
Cassie was putting her books in her locker when she heard the voice of her worst nightmare.... SANDY! She had met Sandy at a party last Saturday. She was nice to her because she thought that was the only time she would see her, but no. They go to school together and even have most classes together. Cassie hated her life.
OH MY GOD, Cassie! Hey! It's me, Sandy!
Sandy proceeded to invite Cassie to a party. Cassie really didn't want to go. She knew it was going to be lame because Sandy was lame. Her parents are even more lame, so they wouldn't let her have a crazy party. She thought about it and decided she would pretend she had something to do with her family. Then, she wouldn't have to go to that lame party. Yes! Master plan!
I'm havin' a party tonight. It's gonna be CRAZY! There's gonna be kabobs and dunking and apple cider! Do you wanna come? I'll save you a party hat!
Ha ha. Yeah, I'll see what I can do.
The following afternoon Cass ran into Sandy while exiting the girls bathroom. Sandy asked about the party again. Cassie forgot all about that mess, so she had to make up an excuse on the spot. She thought it over quickly to make sure it was believable. Sandy seemed to buy it. Cassie did a tiny happy dance inside her brain and left. Luckily that was the end of it.
THE NEXT DAY
Hey, Cass! So, are you coming to my party?
It's okay! Maybe next time.
I would love to, but I can't. I'm so sorry. My mom suddenly wants to go on a family road trip. Weird, but yeah. Sorry!
