  • britain was passing acts to pay off for the french and indian war.taxation without representation,Britain did not let the colonists vote on laws.  by Isa Cavallo
  • the boston massacre 
  • the quartering act ordered the colonists to provide food, homes, transportatition,fuel, and candles. the colonists and the soldiers did not like this.
  • the boston tea party
  • the stampmact said that the colonists had to pay a tax on anything that was printed paper. It was repealed but Britain said they still believed that they should tax them.
  • the intolerable acts
  • the boston massacre started by the colonists getting mad at the soldiers and started to throw snowballs and rocks.Paul Revere said that the soldiers were fighting to a peaceful crowd but that was a lie.
  • Britain taxed the tea and the colonists got mad.They said that the colonists could only buy british tea.the colonists dressed up as indians and poured tea into the boston harbor.
