  •  Women helped, too.
  • While most other men didn't find gold, The Gold Rush shaped California, San Francisco to be exact.
  • California's modern population is large thanks to the gold rush, which quickly brought in people from around the world.
  • People came from places like Mexico...
  • ...And China, developing California's rich and varied culture
  •   ..Europe.. 
  • REPORT Some mines became towns and with the gold rush the communities were popular and could sustain themselves like a real town- even to this day!
