America is great, but I think I can make it better. Thomas Jefferson to the RESCUE!!!!
The first thing I should fix is the federal government. That thing's a mess.
People are good...so they don't need a government to oversee them as much. The public has good judgement, so I think smaller government would be perfect! The states could have the most control, and strict interpretation would fit our country like a charm!
Well, now that the federal government is taken care of, what's next? Never mind, I'll think about it tomorrow.
The economy. The economy is what's next. Farm life and rural living is a nice simplistic life style that is sure to make the future of the republic a good one. That being said, agriculture should be our country's primary focus.
All Hamilton wants to do is develop manufacturing, but my focus is more logical. To advance manufacturing, you need people who are good with machines, and those people are rare. But almost everyone know how to farm!
We should support France. The helped us during the American Revolution, and we owe them. We should be close to them, if anyone.
Now, let's see... I've taken care of the federal government, the economy, and now all I have to figure out is the foreign relations.
After all, Britain is the whole reason why we broke away! To support them would be hypocritical!
I've done it! I created the most enduring, long lasting vision for the U.S!
