Yay! Today I going for my first run!
Come on! Come on!
Pace your self!
June 2014 I jumped out of bed so excited to go on my first run with my mom. I got dressed quickly and ran out the door. I was on Mount Royal in Westerville Ohio. I am nine years old and ecstatic right now.
I was waiting eagerly outside for my mom. Dragging my mom out the door and down to the end of my cul-de-sac I was ready to start.
I started running as fast as I could with the cold wind blowing against my face. My mom was yell loudly pace your self Kaitlyn pace your self.
As I got father and farther it got harder and harder. I was really hot and I was as red as a tomato! I wanted to go home at that point. So we turned around.
When we where almost done I got super tired and I wanted a break. I was struggling. So, we slowed down and got some water then walked the rest. It was quiet and all I heard was huffing and puffing. I wanted to do nothing the rest of the day!
I drag on in to my house and flopped on the floor. I was for sure I was not running again. All I could think about is taking a nap. I woke up smelling something in the oven, it was a nice warm pie.
