The American Indian Tribes
The Inuit lived in northern Alaska and Canada. The Tempeture of where they lived was below freezing for most of the year. Do to this there homes were a simple Lean-To (Made of animal skins) or a Igloo (Made of Snow and ice).
The Iroquis Indians lived in the northeastern part of North America called the Eastern Woodlands. They had hot summers and cold winters. They mostly lived in the forest so there homes were made of wood.
The Lakota Indians lived in the interior great plains in the United States. They had hot summers and long cold winters. Because of this there houses were made of buffolo skins (A animal they hunted) called a TeePees.
The Pueblo Indians lived in the southern basin and range region of North America. The climate was hot and dry. Because of this there homes were made of sun-dried earth and straw called adobe.
