What keeps the moon traveling in its orbit around Earth?
Isaac Newton was a brilliant scientist that had many great discoveries, and every discovery started like this.
How did that apple just fall from the tree?
Maybe the force that pulled the apple to the ground was he same force that was tugging the moon.
The moon is far away, so the force is weaker there. It was strong enough to bend the moons motion into a circular path.
Single Force = Falling Apple on Earth and Heavenly Bodies All of this = Gravity
