  • Exposition
  • "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis!" (pg 10 pan 3)
  • "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!" (pg 10)
  • "All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter." (pg 10)
  • Conflict
  • "What beast was it, then that made you break this enterprise to me?
  • When you durst do it, then you were a man!"  (pg 30 pan 5)
  • Rising Action
  • " Is this a dagger which I see before me, the handle toward my hand?" (pg 37 pan 2)
  • As Macbeth rides along the three weird witches with Banquo and receives a message from them about Macbeth's and Banquo's futures.
  • Climax
  • Lady Macbeth finds out that Macbeth has a chance to become King and so makes Macbeth feels like a coward unless if he kills King Dunan. 
  • Falling Action
  • As Macbeth washes his face before going to kill King Duncan a glowing dagger appears, Macbeth tries reaching for it but it then just leads to King Duncan's bedroom.
  • Denoument
  • Macduff kills Macbeth.
  • Macbeth lost the war and Macduff won. 
  • King Duncan's son Malcolm comes back and takes over the throne of Scotland. Malcolm becomes King of Scotland.
