  • Maycomb is your typical stereotypical 1930's small town, filled with privilege and prejudice. In this small town you can find the Finches.  There's young Scout, that's curious about the world of Maycomb. There's her brother Jem, that is growing and developing into a young man. Then there is their father Atticus, that is a morally, upright lawyer.
  • Conflict #2
  • The story follows the adventure of making Boo Radley come out. Jem and Scout meet the kid from out of town, Dill. Dill is curious and dramatic, and once he heard the rumors  of the elucid and mysterious neighbor Boo Radley. Boo hasn't come out of the house in years, and the kids mission is to see Boo Radley.
  • Rising Action
  • One night to try to complete their mission, they decide to sneak into the Radley lot to get a look at Boo. Jem decides to look through a window on the porch. While keeping watch, Scout and Dill see a shadow appear on the porch. Without hesitation the kids book it. With all the commotion a gun shot goes off, which terrifies the kids of the Radley's
  • Climax
  • There's is a major event going on in the town of Maycomb. Tom Robinson is a innocent black man, that has been accused of raping Mayella Ewell. The Ewells are the trash family of Maycomb, but because of being white they are now victims. Atticus is assigned to defend Tom Robinson and share his story. This will shake the people of Maycomb
  • The whole town of Maycomb, black and white are all packed into the courtroom. Atticus is defending Tom, while Mr Gilmer is defending Mayella. The evidence completely proves Tom innocent, and even points to Mr. Ewell abusing Mayella. Atticus gives a strong convincing closing statement, but it's up to the jury to decide.
  • After, 3 hours of deliberating the jury came to the unanimous vote of... Tom Robinson, guilty. This didn't shook or affect the members of Myacomb, but the Finches and black community. Even though they lose Atticus will file an appeal to possibly prove Tom innocent, but unfortunately Tom couldn't take that chance and was killed trying to escape jail.
  • Guilty
