  • Melody Melody has cerebal palsey and is in a wheelchair, she has short curly brown hair and brown eves, she is almost 11 years old She is smart, persistent, brave, and has a sense of humor A very significant moment for Melody is when she got  her Meti Talker because she could finally "say" what was on her mind 
  • Mrs. V Mrs. is tall and has big hands. I imagine she has straight dark brown hair that  reaches her shoulders She is kind, accepting, strange in a good way, and intelligent A significant part od the book for Mrs. V is when Melody came home anf told her about the guiz team because she found her mission to help Melody train
  • Claire I pictured Claire as a blonde haired an blue eyed, average height and pretty, she is 10 or 11 years old Claire is smart, mean, and desperate for attention A significate moment for claire is when melody came into class, this is when Melody entered her life and, in her opinion, made it worse    
  • Mom Mom has brown hair and eyes She is protective, overwhelmed, and a good parent A significant moment for Mom is when Melody told her and Melody's dad that she loved them 
  • Rose Rose has long hair, she is 10 or 11 years old She is smart, kind, hard working, and a good student A significant moment for Rose is when she became friends with Melody because it changed how people like Claire and Melody look at her and changed how Melody veiwed her
  • Mr. Dimming Mr. Dimming is becoming balding and is sort of pudgy.  He always wares colorful ties He is loves history, is smart,  and is passionate about teaching A significant moment for Mr. Dimming is when Mloy got a perfect score on the quiz team test because before that he was pretty closed minded about what kis like Melody could do
