Storyboard Text

  • Long ago in ancient Greece two sisters, Rubilia an Anathema lived in a village. The village was small and all the homes were close together forming a circle around the center of the town. Anathema was a very kind girl she always had her house open to any stranger and never wanted to see anyone go hungry. Everyone in the village loved Anathema, for there was no reason not to. Except Rubilia who grew jealous of Anathema's praise. Though she was just as beautiful as her sister, Rubilia was also extremely cruel to all living things.
  • Now, one hot summer day as Rubilia carried a bucket of water to her home in the village she stumbled upon a Toad. Toad being desperate for water spoke: 1. 2. 3. Before Toad could finish Rubilia interrupted,4. At that Rubilia marched away creating loud crunching noises from the grass under her feet. Toad still exhausted and dehydrated still carried on his own way.
  • 1. Hello, I see that you have a nice fresh bucket of water 3.We'll, I was just wondering if you would be so kind to pour some of your water onto me? You see I have traveled a long journey and have become quite parch-
  • 2. Yes, I do, and what is it that you think you are doing talking to me for no reason? 4. Excuse me, but if you do not already know the only thing you deserve is - nothing and you cannot possibly be thinking that I might give you some of my water!
  • 1. TOAD:I am very grateful of your kindness and appreciate your heart 2. ANATHEMA: I am always happy to help anyone in need.
  • So he traveled ti'll his tiny feet could carry him no further and he collapsed. Luckily for him Anathema found the poor Toad, and being quite fond of all animals, she felt pitty on the thing and rushed him to her home. There she provided him with plenty of food and water until he was strong enough. ( 1. 2.) Then Toad gracfully leaped away.
  • RUBILIA: 1. Silly cat! Stop your purring for I cannot even eat in peace because of your foolishness. 3. You dumb animal leave my presence at once there is absolutely no way that I will provide you with anything!
  • CAT: 2. I am very sorry ma'am, but I am hungry and I cannot help to wonder if you would give me a bowl of milk?
  • The next day, Rubilia was making her breakfast when a stray cat hopped into her window. He watched her slice vegtables and cook meat over a fire. This interested Cat and he grew hungry. Cat began to meow when he watched as Rubilia poured herself a generous glass of goats milk. Cat had a craving for this milk and he began to purr louder and louder. This continued until Rubilia was so annoyed she looked like a pot of boiling water. She stood up and announced (1.2.) Rubilia gave off a sigh filled with annoyance (3.) Startled and feeling insulted by the way Rubilia responded Cat quickly trotted away in search of some one else who may be more willing to give a cat some milk.
  • ANATHEMA:1. Hello Cat, you look hungry, do you want some goats milk? CAT: Yes, that would be very nice of you thank you. ANATHEMA: At my house I can pour a bowl of milk for you if you would like. CAT: Thank you ma'am, I would appreciate that greatly!
  • It didn't take long before Cat found where Anathema was milking a goat. The milk was fresh and this made Cat's mouth water. So he approached Anathema hoping for a better answer. (1. 2.3. ) Cat, pleased with her response said...( 4.)
  • I could not be any more grateful for the kindness that you have granted me with and will always remember you for what you did.
  • When they reached Anathema's home she got out a large bowl and set it on the ground. Then she got the bucket of milk and filled the bowl to the brim. Cat watched as she made sure to give Cat enough milk to fill his little body. (1. ) She patted Cat softly on the head. (2.) Then gracefully cat pounced outside and scurried away.
  • ANATHEMA: . There you go little guy.
