  • This court case was tried in the Supreme Court on July 8th, 1974. 
  • It was tried because there was a break in at the Watergate complex, where the DNC was headquartered. There were wiretappings that took place there and Richard Nixon decided to use executive privilege to defend himself
  • Summary

  • The ruling of the case was that in that certain case, Nixon could not use Executive privilege. In that case, he had to turn in those tapes that were recorded at the Watergate complex.
