Storyboard Text

  • The Spanish and the Portuguese had a treaty for exploration. Portuguese has Africa, Asia, and India. While the Spanish had the Americas.  
  • A Spanish explorer and scholar went to go sail to the 'West Indies' but they ended up in the Carribean. He also made a theory about how the Earth is smaller than actual size.
  • Once Columbus arrived at the 'West Indies', he started to make trades with the Natives and also formed a colony. He later sailed back to Spain and told the monarchs the good news. Later, he went back.
  • As Columbus arrived back to the Carribean, a native told him that his colony was killed by a local chief.
  • Columbus brought his tribe and go run for the gold. The chief hated these invaders, which caused to go war mostly. Columbus did harsh things to the natives.
  • The Spanish investigator was sent to see Columbus, as Columbus and his brothers were on trial. Columbus and his brothers were arrested for the crime against the natives as Columbus and his brothers are being sent back to Spain.
