  • the four main characters are introduced during the exposition as the main character Mr. Utterson find out about Mr. Hyde and he decides to investigate
  • Falling Action
  • Mr. Hyde kills someone and is marked as a criminal but he is never caught Dr. Jekyll becomes more social for about 3 months then he goes back to staying in his home at the same time Dr. Lanyon gets very sick and dies but leaves Mr. Utterson a letter before he does
  • Conclusion
  • Dr. Jekyll's servants contact Mr. Utterson because they believe something had happened to Dr. Jekyll he had locked himself in his lab and had not come out for weeks they also claim his voice sounds very different and they all decide to break into the lab.
  • Once they break in they find the body of Mr. Hyde in Dr. Jekyll's clothes and it looks as though he had committed suicide they also find a letter from Dr. Jekyll for Mr. Utterson
  • Mr. Utterson returns home and reads the letters learning the truth between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, that they are the same person
