Before the First World War, Africans were being taken for slavery and trading purposes.
After the first World War, many events began to take place during the stages of the Interwar. However, during the World War, Europe began to take over Africa showing imperialism.

After the First World War, many movements and protests were taking place in Asia and Africa.
Another movement was the May Fourth Movement in 1917 when China declared a war for Germany. On may 4th, 1919, thousands of angry students protested for change.

One of those movements was the Long March in 1934 ed by leader Mao Zedong. He led 10,000 communists through china to find a safe place for Chinese communists.
