  • Before the First World War, Africans were being taken for slavery and trading purposes.
  • After the first World War, many events began to take place during the stages of the Interwar. However, during the World War, Europe began to take over Africa showing imperialism.

  • After the First World War, many movements and protests were taking place in Asia and Africa.
  • Another movement was the May Fourth Movement in 1917 when China declared a war for Germany. On may 4th, 1919, thousands of angry students protested for change.

  • One of those movements was the Long March in 1934 ed by leader Mao Zedong. He led 10,000 communists through china to find a safe place for Chinese communists.
