Quotient of a power - Becca Mattson
This storyboard does not have a description.
What problem are you confused on I can help.
I have no idea how to do this weeks homework.
You would have to set it up first just like this; 5*5/ 5
Problem 1. 5 2 / 5 1
Yes, so because your first exponent is 2 and your second exponent is 1 you cancel out by subtracting 2 and 1 and have an exponent of 1.
Ok, wouldn't I cancel out next?
Yes and then you would set it up 5. Because five to the first power is just 5 by itself.
Oh, so my problem would be 5 1
Correct, Does that make sense now?
Oh so my answer would be 5 1 = 5
Yes it does thanks for the help!
