SPEAK OUT. Or forever hold your peace.
In the US, bullying's a real problem. Somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 of students in the US say they have been bullied.
It's also a problem when the bullying victims don't speak up... only 43% do. When those victims don't speak up, that role is in the hands of the bystanders.
A lot of times, those bystanders don't speak up either. Not speaking up is basically joining on the side of the bully. That's being EVIL!
So next time you see bullying going on at school, or outside of school...
Speak out! When peers of victims speak out against the bullying, 57% of the bullying cases stop!
You'll feel great once you speak up for the victim! And most likely, the bullying will stop.
You can stand up for the victim in multiple ways-- confronting the bully, reassuring the victim, telling an adult, etc.
