Storyboard Text

  • Once there was an Emperor who had four daughters and three sons. One of the daughters was so small no one noticed her. The emperor forgot he even had a forced daughter. When her other sisters prepared dinner oh, she wasn't even able to take a grain of rice to the table.
  • Djow Seow was her name. Her favorite toy was a kite. Everyday a monk came and told her a poem " My kite sails upward mounting to the high heavens. My soul goes on wings."
  • One day evil men were plotting to take the Emperor. Djeow Seow saw them take the king.
  • News was out that the emperor was dead. The sons and daughters sobbed for days but Djeow Seow knew the emperor wasn't dead.
  • Djeow Seow went and took her kite and fed the emperor in the tower he was in. The monk told Djeow Seow a poem "My kite sails upward, mounting to the high heavens. My emperor goes on wings."
  • He climbed down the kite and he never forgot his fourth daughter again.
