  • It was clear to me that as long as we view prayer as a burdensome, boring, meaningless, and rote ritual, we cannot improve our relationship with God.
  • Actually Shulchan Aruch, we are arguing the same point, so dude back off!
  • Actually, Rachael, I disagree with you. A  person who is praying must focus on the meaning of the words that he is saying and imagine that he is facing the divine presence. One must not have any distracting thoughts at all!
  • Annza Bananza, do you think that you should daven even  if you do not have Kavanah?
  • Yes, Meenzy Peenzy!! Do as best as you can, you may gain Kavanah throughout.
  •  Rambam, I am so angry! I do not want to daven this way!!!
