Storyboard Text

  • ONCE upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary
  • One night i was thinking, perhaps not the happiest of thoughts
  • And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door, That I scarce was sure I heard you”—here I opened wide the door;— Darkness there and nothing more.
  • I heard something at my door, but when i opened it up to see what was there, there was nothing but darkness
  • But the Raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
  • the raven kept talking, repeating the same one word
  • “Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!” I shrieked, upstarting— “Get thee back into the tempest and the Night’s Plutonian shore!
  • “Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!” I shrieked, upstarting— “Get thee back into the tempest and the Night’s Plutonian shore!
  • I was done with this bird and wanted him to go away for good!
  • And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor Shall be lifted—nevermore!
  • The bird did not leave. he stayed, like the constant thought of my wife and how she is not alive anymore.
  • The loss of someone you love is not something you can easily overcome
