  • king george wanted the colonists to pay the tea tax.
  • we shall keep the tea tax
  • the    colonists are angry at king george
  •  the tea went overboard
  •  ParliAment passed the tea act which cept a tax on the tea and the colonists were only allowed to buy tea from the Britsh.
  • The Tea act also lowered the cost of tea but it still made the colonists very angry.
  • December 16, 1773, A group of men dressed up as native Americans and climbed aboard the tea ships in boston harbor. There they dumped 90,000 pounds of tea into the water.
