  • I've always wondered,  how does the embalming process work. Well  we are going to learn together!
  • EGYPT
  • Before it starts the Priests take out the organs and store them into these sorts of jars! They then cover the body with natron!
  • After a few days of the body being stored after adding the natron to it, it has shrunk. They then add burial spices!
  • Now it is time to wrap the body in linen. After we have to place the body inside the Sarcophagus! 
  • Now let's get into further detail. The main reason of embalming was to protect the body on it's journey to the afterlife!
