I challenge you...
This is Hare, that kid that went on Dr. Fill and became instantly famous. Hare has thousands of followers on his social media accounts due to his instant popularity.
Above, is Tortoise. Unlike Hare, Tortoise was not instantly famous and had to work his way up. Through many years and hard work, Tortoise grew to be very popular on social media and has just as many followers as Hare.
Tortoise says: Don't forget to follow me on Snapgram! I always follow back!
"I bet I could get more subscribers than you!" Hare boasted when the two finally met. ''I challenge you to a race to see who can get the most subscribers! We will use the new social media network, Snapgram, and will only have a week to gain subscribers.''
Tortoise agreed, knowing that if he won, he would be able to show Hare that hard work and time can pay off.
Throughout the week, Tortoise advertised and told all of his fans about Snapgram and his new account. Hare, thinking that he would instantly get thousands of followers, didn't do any advertising and didn't tell anyone about Snapgram.
The end of the competition neared and Tortoise was winning by nearly 500 followers. As the competition finally ended, Tortoise easily won, much to Hare's dismay. Hare learned that time and hard work will make you successful.
