Hi! My name is John Locke! I was one of the Enlightenment Thinkers. I made sure that everyone had their natural rights. Their natural rights are right to life, liberty, and property. My friends Montesquieu, Rousseau, and Thomas Jefferson also influenced the Enlightenment with their ideas!
Once upon a time, there was a king and queen, they were in the 2nd estate. There was also a bishop who was in the 1st estate and there was a servant who was in the 3rd estate. The middle class was known as Bourgeoisie.
King Louis XIV took out too many international loans to fund the American Revolution. He loved spending money on unnessary things (Deficit Spending) Because they fell into so much debt, the French Revolution came in motion. Their was a major tax reform.
The Napoleonic Code was an example a Social Reform and Economic Reform. A Social Reform is a social and political way of making things better in their community. The Economic Reform was like the Social Reform, just with helping with Economic problems they had.
The War of 1812 was between the UK and the US. The Continental System was a foreign policy of the Napoleonic. People felt strong nationalism so they helped their country fight in the war. They annexed their documents and built their Empire.
