Storyboard Text

  • Scout and Jem finding a surprise in the tree
  • Hmmm????
  • Scout, Dill, and Jem play a tire game. Scout ends up on the Radley's front steps.
  • SCOUT! GET OUT NOW!!
  • Trial of Tom Robinson
  • There is always the appeal, there is no uncercumstancial evidence to prove Tom Guilty.
  • Boo Radley has been leaving things inside a tree in the neighborhood where him, and the siblings live for them. In this picture they find something together.
  • Verdict of the Trial
  • The three kids play a game together, and Jem rolls/ pushes Scout to much and she ends up rolling right into the Radley's front steps. Nobody goes near there because Boo is a scary man. Jem screams at Scout to get out of there and retreat.
  •                    Death of Tom
  • Atticus is asking Tom Robinson questions at the trial of himself against the word of a white man, Mr. Bob Ewell. The children of Atticus were up on the balcony with the black citizens watching their father.
  • Boo Comes Out
  • In this scene the children of Atticus are extremely upset. The word of a white man had over thrown all the facts that there were no evidence, and weak testimonies to prove Tom was guilty. As Atticus leaves, already thinking about the appeal of the case, the Black folks in the balcony view all stand up and show their respect for Atticus, thanking him for seeing their equality.
  • Before the appeal could even occur, Tom was shot seventeen times while "trying to escape". Atticus and the children didn't think Tom was the type of person to do this, and the police force was excessive. There was Atticus could do now, what was done was done. He had to make his way to tell Tom's wife and give his condolences and grievances.
  • In TKMB the finale was unforgettable. BOO CAME OUT! As Scout and Jem were waling home from the school event, they were attacked. Jem fought for Scout and ended up getting hurt (broken arm mentioned at the beginning of the novel) Boo had seen the attacker, who ended up being Mr. Bob Ewell and killed him with a stake knife in order to protect the children. He brought Jem back into their house and watched over him. The sheriff decided to protect Boo and rule the stabbing of Bob as his own accident as he tried to hurt the kids for it would have been"a sin to kill a mockingbird" in this case bring attention and questioning onto Boo for his selfless saving act.
