  • favorite social studies lesson
  • least favorite social studies lesson
  • Today class we will go over the amendments
  • Advice given to next years students about social studies
  • The list 1. socrative 2. the assignment on canvas
  • My favorite lesson is the amendments, because I needed to know what my rights were, because I think that is something that I should know now that I am 13.  The only thing that I would have liked more was if we had more time to go over the amendments.
  • advice given to next years students for junior high
  • My least favorite lesson was Lewis and Clark, because I learned about them a year or two ago and I already knew a lot about them.  I think we could have spent less time on this since I have already learned about them. I think we could have gotten away with just the Indian tribes that they met on the way.
  • what I am going to miss
  • The advice that I would give to next year’s students regarding social studies would be that as long as you pay attention and do your webquest you should do just fine, but do not lie to Mr. Read or Mr. Fletcher that you did your work or got a higher grade than what you actually got. They will regrade your work. To be successful in social studies is do your work and everything will get locked in your brain. If you study you will get a good grade on your tests.
  • I am looking forward to next year
  • The advice that I would give to next year’s students regarding junior high would be that if you pay attention and do your work you will be fine.Do not talk back to teachers, because that will only get talking to Mr. Chase and you and I both know you don’t want that. Just follow the rules. The way to be successful is to just do your work.If you never studied in 2nd-6th grade I would start studying this year, because it will help a lot. I think the most difficult thing for me was at the beginning of the year I couldn’t open up my locker. I overcame that, because an 8th grader helped me open my locker and showed me how to do it.
  • I am going to miss all of the 8th graders that were actually nice to me. The 8th graders that were nice to me would help me open my locker at the beginning of the year when I couldn’t open it.  When I couldn’t open my locker one 8th grader came over and showed me how to open my locker and than shut my locker and helped me open up my locker, but stood there just incase I couldn’t get it open.  They were always there for me when I needed help, because they would help me by showing me where I needed to go and I became friends with them.
  • I am looking forward to next year is being in the 8th grade.  Making a good impression on myself to the incoming 7th graders.  I want to give the incoming 7th graders the best year of their life, because they won’t know what to do in the junior high.  I have already been through the 7th grade and I don’t want them to have to be worried about not knowing how to open their lockers. I want them to know that I will be there for them when they need help.
