Hey,how are you?
The narrator is introduced. He tries to prove his sanity even though he killed the old man for his horrible eye.
The narrator is being nice with the old man so that the old man does not suspect that the narrator is crazy.
Over the next eight nights the narrator plots killing the old man to get rid of the "eye". Each night he enters the old man's room with a lantern until he sees the eye.
I confess make it stop!!!
Finally, one night the old man wakes up and screams. Then the narrator pulls the old man off the bed. The narrator kills the old man cutting him to pieces. After he hides the old man's body under the floor.
Then the policemen arrive to the old man's house because someone reported a scream. The narrator tries to cover up by saying it was him that screamed, and that the old man was out of town.
The story ends when the narrator believes he hears a noise that grows louder and louder. He believes that is the old man's heart. He thinks that the policemen could hear the old man's heart as well and he finally confess to the police.
