  • The exposition is when Sam and Bill were planning on Kidnapping a boy.
  • Falling Action
  • The rising action is when Bill takes the boy to the cave and the boy thinks they are playing Indian so the boy starts misbehaving.Bill had enough of the boy/Red Chief and so Bill returns the boy to his family but the boy follows Bill back into the cave.
  • Conclusion 
  • The climax is when when Sam and Bill send a letter to Dorset that if he wants his son back he has to pay 15 hundred dollars.
  • Theme
  • The falling action is when Dorset sent a letter back to Sam and Bill and Dorset said he will only take his son Johnny only if Sam and Bill pay $250.
  • The conclusion is when Sam and Bill convinced the boy to come home by saying his father has a silver-mounted rifle and a pair of moccasins for him, and the boy returned home
  • Be careful of your actions because you might regret them (My idea)
