Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12th, 1809.
Abraham Lincoln received about 18 months of education.
In the 1830s Abraham Lincoln worked in Illinois hauling freight and working as a shopkeeper and postmaster.
Lincoln was against the expanding of slavery but what he really wanted to do was expand cities and businesses.
Lincoln taught himself things about law and later passed the bar examination in 1836. (To asses whether or not a person is capable of practicing a law in the jurisdiction.)
Lincoln moved to Springfield and worked as a lawyer, thats when he earned his nickname Honest Abe.
