  • I love school!!
  • Girls are no longer allowed to be in school!
  • This is not fair I am standing up for my education and I am going to stay in school. 
  • School is very important to me and I will not let the Taliban take that away.
  • Once upon a time there was a girl named Malala who lived in Swat Valley Pakistan. She went to school at the Khushal School for girls. Malala loves school and is very passionate about her education.
  • You are a girl! You are not allowed to be going to school. 
  • Swat Valley had been taken over by the Taliban and had banned girls from going to school. Malala believed that her education was very important so she knew that she had to stand up to the Taliban.
  • Malala knew that continuing to go to school was not the safest idea but she was very strong in what she believed in and would not let the Taliban take her education away. 
  • Nobel Peace Prize
  • One day when Malala was fifteen she was on her way home from school and was shot in the head by the Taliban. She was severely injured and was not expected to survive. 
  • Malala spent a lot of time in the hospital having many operations and slowly started to recover. 
  • After Malala recovered, she received the Noble Peace Prize for her courage and is a well-known activist for standing up for a girl's right to receive an education.
