  • About the Mayan Civilization
  • Nice!
  • Hello students, welcome to your Mayan tour. The first thing I will tell you  about the Mayan Civilization is it extended from southeastern Mexico to modern day Guatemala, Belize, and the west parts of Honduras and El Salvador.
  • That's Cool!
  • Next Stop: Mayan Achievement #1
  • Mayan Achievement #1
  • Great idea!
  • NOT FOR USE OF CARS ONLY FOR TOUR!!
  • Next, I will be showing you a Mayan achievement. These are the roads that the Mayans built. They built these because it helped with transportation when the population of the Mayan's began to grow big.
  • They were really smart!
  • Next Stop: Mayan Achievement #2
  • Mayan Achievement #2
  • Interesting!
  • This is the 2nd Mayan achievement I will be showing you today. It is an aqueduct, used for providing running water to the palace and other buildings.
  • Next Stop: Mayan Achievement #3
  • That looks amazing!
  • Stop #1
  • Mayan Achievement #3
  • Stop #2
  • How Did The Mayan Civilization End (Theories)
  • Now I am going to tell you some theories about how the Mayan Civilization came to an end. First there is warfare, second there is disease, third is famine, lastly is disaster/environmental change.
  • Stop #3
  • How Did The Mayan Civilization End (What I Think Happened)
  • What I think happened that made The Mayan Civilization end the most is the famine because you can't live when you have no food or water, so I think a lot of people died in that time period.
  • Stop #4
  • Very artistic!
  • Our last Mayan Achievement exhibit is the Mayan art. They even used wood, jade, obsidian, ceramics, and sculpted stone monuments, then painted them!
  • Stop #5
  • Agreed!
  • I personally think that environmental change wasn't a reason it ended because it wasn't a big and major think, like the other theories were.
  • Stop #6
  • I think warfare.
  • I think disease.
