  • Battle at Verona
  • At this point of the play, Mertico and Benvolio are trying to avoid a fight under this scorching sun. Romeo soon joins them in the city after being secretly married to Juliet. Unfortunately, Tybalt and some friends meet with them in the town. Mertico strangely challenges Tybalt to a fight like a complete fool.
  • More battling at Verona
  • Mertico challenges Tybalts with calling him the "King of Cats" and will "take one of his nine lives." As Mertico and Tybalt fight, Romeo tries to step in and break the fight up, Tybalts lifts Romneo's arm and stabs Mertico in a fatal blow.
  • More and More Battle at Verona
  • The dying Mertico curses the two families. He asks Benvolio to take him in a building before his death. Now, Romeo is enraged about this death of his close friend. Romeo draws his sword and battles Tybalt, killing him almost instantly. Romeo flees the scene as the Prince of the land arrives. The Prince takes mercy on the punishment of Romeo and only banishes him from the land of Verona.
  • Here we have crazy Shakespeare telling us about the battle at Verona in Romeo and Juliet in Act III
  • I'm not making an epic in this slot... Also Juliet getting the news.
  • How did we get here?... Oh! So the nurse enters Juliet's room and gives the news of Romeo's banishment and him killing Tybalt. At first Juliet mad at Romeo for killing Tybalt, but then quickly forgives him.
  • Seriously, I think he needs his brain checked. Someone help this broken man.
  • NEEEEEEWS
  • The reason Juliet forgives Romeo is because of their marriage. She knows that Romeo will be leaving forever, and want to see him one last time before he goes.
  • Is there a doctor nearby?
  • Someone make this end!
  • Juliet has the nurse promise to get Romeo one last time and give him a ring. The nurse sets of to Friar Lawrence's place where Romeo has taken refuge at for the time being.
  • The text here told me to compose an Epic. So lets talk about Odysseus. He was a king of the land he was at. He had to go on thisLOOOOOONNNNNNNG voyage to go home due to a curse that Polyphemus put on him. This is getting too long so I'll stop.
  • The reason Odysseus got the curse on him is when he went to the land of Cyclopes and foolishly stays in a cave and waits for the Cyclops to return. Unfortunately, this led to them being trapped inside the cave by the Cyclops, Polyphemus, and losing six of his men to him.
  • The way Odysseus escapes the cave is by waiting making Polyphemus drunk, then stabbing him in his eye. They then hide underneath his flock of sheep and escape through that, but once they reach the ship, Odysseus taunts Polyphemus with his full name, allowing him to curse Odysseus, and thus the trip begins.
