Storyboard Text

  • Tybalt and Mercutio run into each other and get into an argurment. Meanwhile, Benvolio tells them to settle down from the sidelines.
  • I knew this wouldn't end well...
  • Settle down you two, we're in a public place...
  • Romeo intervenes with the fight, and Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo's arm. Mercutio ends up dying from the wound. As Mercutio says, the wound was not as deep as a well, which is a similie that compares the wound to a well.
  • And I should protected Mercutio instead of trying to make peace!
  • Agh! This wound is not as deep as a well but it's enough...
  • Tybalt and Romeo meet again and Romeo stabs Tybalt after the two of them get into a fight over Mercutio's death.
  • But I let my anger get the best of me... and just look at the cost.
  • The Prince finds out about Tybalt's death and banishes Romeo from Verona.
  • No! How will I see Juliet now?
  • I remember being distraught with that news... I felt like death would be the easier punishment.
  • Romeo will be banished from Verona for committing this terrible crime.
  • Romeo and Juliet secretly meet after Romeo is banished.
  • Juliet, it's almost daylight. I cannot stay for much longer.
  • But even my banishment couldn't separate us...
  • No, you're imagining that. Stay a little longer...
  • Let Juliet know that she will be marrying Paris on Thursday.
  • Lady Capulet, Capulet, and the Nurse tell Juliet that she will marry Paris on Thursday and Juliet refuses.
  • Cheer up! You and Paris will be married on Thursday!
  • I never wanted to marry Paris. Our love stayed true through it all.
  • Just marry him!
  • I refuse!
