  • Latin American Instruments- M.T.B.
  • Marimba
  • Well yes, but the piano keeps the melody of the song just like the marimba.
  • This piano here is just like the marimba you were talking about you were talking about.
  • But dad, doesn't a marimba have keys you hit?
  • Timbales
  • Do you hear those tom-toms playing in there, i've really been working on them.
  • Thats because they basically are! Theyre high pitched tones are similar to a timbale and you can put them anywhere and they work.
  • Yeah i do, they actually sound kind of like timbales!
  • Latin-America has an interesting combination of music with marimbas, bandoneons, timbales, which make the cool Mexican type music you are about to learn about.
  • Bandoneons

  • Your probably thinking about the bandoneon which is like an accordian but has multiple buttons.
  • Oh well that explains it, I tend to always hear it in folk music to.

  • Yeah I know most of them, but i forgot about the conga and calves that make a big aspect of it.
  • Costa Rica has interesting music with marimbas, bandoneons, and timbales which all make some cool sounds, that contribute to the type of music played here.
