I've need doing this for 20 years and got you guys nothing
Here in this scene Lizabeth and her friends are picking the marigolds.In the beginning of the story and in this scene, her character is acting more as a child. This is because she doesn't stop people from doing this.
In these scene Lizabeth is listening to her dad and mom talking to each other. Though her father is crying, Lisabeth feels bad. In the middle of the book her character understands that she is becoming a adult.
Near the end of the story, Lizabeth is all grown up. Her character realizes that she has to grow up, Inflicting she is now a adult. In these scene she is planting marigolds. The same one that she ripped out as a kid.
