Hi, I'm The Creek.
Bridge to Terabithia, by Katherine Paterson, from the Perspective of The Creek
A boy and a girl, seemingly named Jess and Leslie, used a rope to swing across me. I expect they wont come back. People usually don't stay in the old house up the hill for long
Jess and Leslie continued to come back. They named the area across me Terabithia, a magical kingdom that they are the rulers of. It's fun watching their world grow.
The kids brought a puppy to Terabithia and named him Prince Terrien. He's so cute! It looks like it's hard to get swing on the rope with him though. I hope they don't get hurt...
There have been many days of rain and I'm full to the brim with water. When Leslie tried to swing across alone, she slipped and was carried downstream. I wonder f she's okay.
Jess came today. I never saw Leslie again, though. I'll miss her company. Jess brought his younger sister. He's passing on the title of queen to her. To replace the rope, he created a Bridge to Terabithia.
