  • Thank you for signing the Louisiana Purchase.
  • July 4th, 1803, Jefferson's Announcement
  • People, People. We have gathered hear today to announce that we are going to have a treaty to get more land.  
  • Luis and Clark go and travel the land
  • Hello, I'm Luis and this is Clark. We are searching the land.
  • Barbe Marbois, Robert Livingston, and James Monroe were present during the signing of the Louisiana Purchase.
  • Luis and Clark Travel With Sacagawea
  • These people speak Shoshone.
  • Jefferson announced the treaty to the American people.
  • Napoleon 1 of France's Offer
  • I have an offer that I shall acquire Louisiana from Spain. 
  • Luis and Clark run into the Lenape and Iroquois tribes which had to move west. Then they ran into Sacagawea. 
  • American's Worries
  • What if Napoleon withdraws his offer!
  • Lets sign the Louisiana Purchase.
  • While traveling with Sacagawea, Luis and Clark were shown most of the land.
  • Napoleon acquired Louisiana from Spain by the secret Treaty of San Ildefonso. 
  • The Americans thought Napoleon might withdraw the offer at any time so they agreed and signed the Louisiana Purchase.
