  • In the year 1828, President Adams approves of the tariff of 1828.
  • I, President John Adam, has approved of the Protective Tariff of 1828, which has been passed by the Adam's Administration.
  • The South Carolinians dislike the tariff and look up to Vice President Calhoun for leadership.
  • Why is North being benefited?!
  • Calhoun, please help us!
  • Why is no one buying our raw cotton?
  • Taxes are too high!
  • John C . Calhoun decides he will support the South Californians to keep is political position.  
  • We must nullify this tariff!
  • Andrew Jackson went to the congress and asked them if he could have permission to use federal troops.
  • I must use federal troops to enforce federal laws in the face of nullification.
  • Henry Clay writes a new law but it's still a tax and the tariff is still too high for the South.
  • I now present you the South Carolina Ordinance of Nullification.
  • The Tariff is still too high!
  • Congress passes the Force Bill of 1830, which was a compromise to avoid conflict with South Carolina.
  • Congress has now passed the Force Bill of 1830.
  • I guess you could say we've all claimed victory?
