  • The plant is absorbing water with it's roots

  • The sunlight is being absorbed by the leaves

  • Inside the plant, it is combining the carbon, water, and oxygen to make glucose. The sunlight is used to power this process, called photosynthesis.

  • The plant then releases the oxygen into the air because it is a waste product, or an excess resource.

  • Meanwhile, in the rabbits lungs, the lungs are absorbing the oxygen and the mitochondria are using the oxygen to make ATP energy
