  • The Plan
  • I've, just came up with the greatest idea!  We shall escape in the air!
  • Wings
  • Son I want you to collect as many feathers as you can find. 
  • When Theseus escaped from the labyrinth, King Minos flew into anger and order Daedalus to be locked up in a tower. As time pasted him and his son escaped to be a prisoner on a lonely island unable to bribe the ship as they were carefully searched. 
  • Flying
  • Son, don't fly to high and don't fly to low or there will be consequences. Just follow me and you'll be safe. 
  • Daedalus released that King Minos had control of the ground and sea but he didn't have the air. He will escape with wings!
  • Icarus'  Death
  • Son... "He watched as the feathers on Icarus's desend back down onto Earth.
  • Daedalus wanted his son to collect feathers so he may construct two pair of wings. He had used the soft wax to mold the feathers together. 
  •  Once they were ready Daedalus warned his son about flying to height would cause the wax to melt causing the feathers to fall off. Then they took off. As the people on the ground thought they were gods.
  • Icarus flew with freedom. He didn't pay attention to his father's instructions he flapped his wing rapidly and flew high and higher. The heat grew and the wax started to meld and the feather fell. Icarus plummeted to the great blue sea. With his father unable to save him. 
  • Daedalus puts his wings that he used to escape with his son.
