- I am the most beautiful, powerful woman in all the land.
- Uh, no...that would be ME!
- Aphrodite was a beautiful goddess. Helen was married to the king of Sparta. Everybody in the land was going to the big feast.
- Can you believe the way they are fighting. They are making everyone around them unhappy too.
- Looks like we need to make them apologize to each other.
- Everyone was enjoying the feast when Eris felt like causing some trouble. She threw a golden apple of discord on the feasting table.
- I'm really sorry.
- I'm sorry too.
- The apple caused Aphrodite and Helen to suddenly become jealous of each other's beauty and power. They started fighting and it made everyone in the land sad.
- All their fighting made everyone very sad. So sad that the goddesses noticed.
- The goddesses made Aphrodite and Helen notice how sad they were making everyone with their jealous fighting. Aphrodite and Helen apologized to each other.
- Now that there was no jealousy, everyone lived happily ever after! Moral: Jealousy only causes anger and sadness. We should appreciate each other instead of being jealous of each other.
