The Next Big Thing After My Birth (Exposition)
School!!!! (Rising Action)
Tada! Here I am, entering the world. Aaliyah Blackmon, the first child but not the last. I was born May 2, 2005 at 6:30 in the morning. Also known as, in my family, Too Early O'clock. I was supposed to be born 6 hours before I was, but it doesn't matter. It's just 6 hours or so, right?
School may not be the best... (Rising Action)
A sister? Come on. They didn't do that to me, right? Just a hologram to annoy me that I can destroy any minute? Nope, a completely real sister. Just about 3 years younger than I am. They named her Brianna. Luckily, they named me after someone famous and not her.
The New Dojo (Rising Action)
Preschool, the realization. This is the point in my life when my mom realized something. I was no ordinary child. After a bit, I was way ahead of the others and I didn't have any previous education. My teachers at Bug, my 1st elementary school, refused to believe my mom. So we moved schools to Rand Road Elementary School. They saw I was above average.
The Silent Ninja (Climax [So far])
The Silent Ninja
When we moves schools, we also moved houses. Rand Road was too far away from our current house, which was on Dullis Circle. So we packed up all our things, this happened over several days, and moved to 165 Bayberry Woods Drive. This also meant we switched dance studios and karate dojos.
Our new dojo was part of a chain of karate dojos. It was Karate International of Garner. One day, at the dojo in Black Belt Leadership class, Sensei asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. I said, "An Author." He then asked, "Why wait till you grow up?"
This gave me an idea. I went home and started writing a story. I wrote the story for my dojo about my dojo. I wanted the main character to be a shy individual. Sensei, my 5th grade teacher, my AIG teacher at Rand, and my mom helped me finish the book. My mom did the copyright and things of that sort, and I became an 11 year old author.
