I Am Malala
Once upon a time there was a young girl named Malala who lived in Pakistan with her parents and her two brothers.
No girls are allowed to go to school!
But why? We love school.
Malala and her friends loved school, but one day a group called the Taliban told all of Pakistan that girls were not allowed to go to school.
Girls deserve an education!
Malala was resentful with the Taliban's decison, so she took it upon herself to travel around the world to advocate and fight for her education.
One day Malala recieved a death threat over the phone from the Taliban. They said they would kill her if she continued to make an effort in getting an education.
Unfortunately, while Malala and her friends were on their way home from school one afternoon, a member from the Taliban came into the back of the bus and shot Malala point blank in the face.
Who is Malala?
Nobody expected Malala to survive, but miraculously Malala lived and continued to fight for her rights and became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
