Some people call the capital of the Aztec empire, Tenochtitlan, impossible. But was it really that impossible?
Legend has it that the Aztecs would know where to built their capital city when they saw an eagle sitting on top of a cactus eating a snake. This legend is depicted on the Mexican flag we have today
The Aztecs filled in the center of the lake with rocks and mud to make more land to build on. They also created floating gardens called chinampas to grow food on. All in all it doesn't seem like Tenochtitlan was impossible, just hard to build
