Storyboard Text

  • Hey, Kayla. Hi, Evan. Here's your lines. Go hit the books, and I want you all to know the ropes by tomorrow. We don't have much time.
  • OK.
  • THE NEXT DAY.
  • Same here.
  • I know I do, Mattea.
  • There you two are!! I presume you know your lines?
  • Fantastic! So here's the thing, guys: As a troupe, we don't want to go down like a lead balloon, but we don't need to go the extra mile. And, we don't have time to anything extra.
  • While the director, actor, and actress were chatting, Allie, the costume woman, was working on finishing all the costumes in time.
  • Kayla! Evan! Let's go. You need to be wearing costumes and in the green room in 10 minutes. Ugh, don't tell me Kayla's bonnet got misplaced.
  • A few days later...
  • The audience began to get antsy. Shortly after, the emoji-painted screen rose and performers appeared.
  • Cheering and applause echoed down the street. Soon, the troupe was taking their final bows and closing the curtain.
