Poverty and Humility Lead to Heaven
This storyboard does not have a description.
How can I get to Heaven?
Give up all your riches and live in poverty for seven years.
The Prince did as the beggar had said, and after wandering the world for what seemed like forever, seven years had passed. The Prince was ready to return home.
The Prince returned, but his siblings did not recognize him because of his ragged appearance. Distraught, he wrote to his mother, the Queen, begging her for a place in the palace.
Because the Queen loved her son, she gave him a place to stay underneath the stairwell. Servants were to bring him food and water daily.
One of these servants was very wicked, and began taking food from the Prince. He became weaker and weaker, eventually starving to death. The Prince passed with a rose and a lily in each hand.
Why should a beggar have better food than I?
When he was buried, a rose and a lily bloomed on either side of his grave.
