In 1066 The Battle of Hastings took place. It was between William and Harold. Harold was killed in the battle, but nobody knows exactly how, but it is said that he was shot in the eye with an arrow.
Motte and bailey castles were brought to England by William the Conquer; by the time William had fully invaded England, these castles were all over the country.
The Black Death arrived in England in 1348 and died out in 1350, although it never properly died out. The Black Death killed 30-50% of England's population.
The Peasants' Revolt happened in 1381; the peasants revolted in London. Wat Tyler was the leader of the peasants and he demanded justice for the peasants.
