In 527-565 c.e. the lasting of the accomplishments of Byzantine emperor Justinian 1 had complete and organized Rome of Laws.
The emperor had believed that the laws was essential to security of the empire as military power. His legal achievement was an attempt to ensure the power and legacy of his reign. Justinian selected and changed commission which included tribonian, the task of organizing the past and present law of the empire
In 529 the commission complete its work the code which arranged centuries of imperial legislation removing that which was no longer needed. the code was revised and updated in 534. they had copies lay out throughout the empire and laws were only recorded in thre valid in the empire court.
