Storyboard Text

  • You've got to study! You have a math test tomorrow!
  • But math is so boring!
  • Why don't you talk Jenna? You don't know how to?
  • Guy's that's not funny, let's go Jenna.
  • Jenna is a 10 year old girl that attends Lincoln Elementary School in California. She appears to be happy and normal, just like any other girl. What you wouldn't know, however, is that Jenna is mute.
  • How about we make an acceptance club where no one can make fun of anyone!
  • I'll do it!
  • I'll join!
  • Okay, cool!
  • Jenna is struggling in school, but she can't seem to understand anything. Her best friend, Marissa, is an A+ student. Marissa tries to help her friend, but she can't seem to grasp the concept.
  • Marissa and Jenna someone wants to say something to you.
  • The next day at school, Jenna was playing with Marissa during recess. A group of girls came over to them and started to tease Jenna.
  • We just wanted to apologize and we hope we can be friends.
  • The next day, Marissa and Jenna were deciding if they should tell the teacher about the bullies. Then Jenna signed to her, "It's okay, you don't have to stand up for me." But Marissa decided to make an acceptance club instead and many other students decided to join them.
  • When they were in class, Principal Thomas came in. He told Jenna and Marissa that someone needed to tell them something.
  • The three girls were standing there and shifted uncomfortably. They wanted to apologize about what they said. "It's okay, let's be friends. Hey have you guys heard of the Acceptance club yet?" Jenna signed with a big smile on her face.
