  • Once the Union has had a victory, the Emancipation Proclamation will be out and there will finally be an end to slavery.
  • falling action
  • conclusion/resolution
  • Lincoln wanted to end slavery once and for all. So he created the Emancipation Proclamation, but he couldn't publish it yet to the public. For, he must have a victory at war to be able to. So he kept it with him until the time came.
  • The Union was fighting for their lives trying to get a victory for their country, for their president. After, such tragedy at the battle field they recieved a win, now Lincoln will be able to end slavery once and for all.
  • Once the war was over Abraham Lincoln past away. He didn't live to see the end of a great battle that will go down in history. But, he will go down in history for his duties as being their president at the time. For ending slavery, and for saving  The United States.
